Ruby's Third Birthday (August 2, 2012)

A Birthday Cake from Bow-Wow Dog Bakery.

Got jossled in the van but still tasted great!

I got a new toy

I sure do love my new toy!

My Toys need a place to stay so A Personalized Toy Box was another third Birthday Present.  It's matches my raised feeder (that I got for my second Birthday)

We went to the Wheelchair Daze Picnic to celebrate my

Third Birthday with some PAWS foster Puppies

The nose knows it's my Cake that Mom is holding.

It was hot so Dad got me a non-flavored Sno-Kone.  I liked it.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY AT COMERICA PARK

A tradition at Comerica Park (the home of the Detroit Tigers) is "Christmas in July"  It providves a fund raiser for the Salvation Army.  We have parade floats and decorations from the Parade Company (the group that puts on the Detroit Thanksgiving Parade) and people dressed as elves and one dressed as Santa Claus.  There are Salvation Army Brass Musicians playing Christmas Carols and choral groups singing Christmas Carols as well.  Always a fun event.  Here's some shots from this year's,

OUR FIRST ANNIVERSARY AS A TEAM!

One year ago this date (March 31st) Ruby came home from the PAWS With A Cause school at Wayland, Michigan to begin our partnership together.  That was the start of a beautiful relationship.  Thanks to her two Foster Moms:  Julie Sopko and Erica DeNeff, her Trainer at PAWS Barb Kozminski, Senior Staff Trainer, and to Pat Dolowy our Field Trainer. She is a wonderful girl who I love to pieces and a great, enthusiastic service dog.
