A tradition at Comerica Park (the home of the Detroit Tigers) is "Christmas in July" It providves a fund raiser for the Salvation Army. We have parade floats and decorations from the Parade Company (the group that puts on the Detroit Thanksgiving Parade) and people dressed as elves and one dressed as Santa Claus. There are Salvation Army Brass Musicians playing Christmas Carols and choral groups singing Christmas Carols as well. Always a fun event. Here's some shots from this year's,
